The United Way of Southeast Louisiana has recently released its local “Aspirations” campaign, focusing on residents’ wishes for our parish and its citizens.
Executive Director Donna Bliss saw a similar United Way video and wanted to be the first agency in this area to have its own.
“The United Way wants what the people want for our area,” Bliss said. “When one of our sister agencies put together the project, we thought it would give us the opportunity to just ask people who live here what they want for the area – and make sure to highlight those organizations The United Way Supports. Everyone from fishermen to business leaders and local politicicans supported the project.”
Southeastern Louisiana University communication intern Zac Maurer was the videographer for the project, and Red Dragonfly Promotions sponsored its completion. The video is available at http://youtu.be/BXRLNkAlTHs.
